Miki, a contemporary artist, took pictures of her home during the state of emergency declaration. “Having been living here for four and a half years, I don’t know even about the changes in the weeds growing in the garden,” says Miki about her house. She kept uploading the photos that she took to Instagram. This work was done by selecting pictures and adding texts after the government declared a state of emergency. Contrary to its meaning, the state of emergency declaration has allowed many people to take a break and reconsider their daily lives. Miki’s photos symbolize the gradual flow of time under the state of emergency.
